America comments on Iran's qualification for the 2022 World Cup and hopes to face it in Doha

The US envoy to the nuclear negotiations with Iran, Robert Malley, congratulated Iran on its qualification for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Finals.

"Congratulations to the team for qualifying for the 2022 World Cup," Mali said, through his account on Twitter, adding, "I hope the US national team will meet you in Doha," where the World Cup matches will take place from November 21 to December 18.  

The US envoy also sent a message with a greater political dimension, praising "allowing women to attend a match" to qualify against Iraq at the stadium in Tehran for the first time in more than two years.

 And by defeating its Iraqi counterpart with a clean goal, last Thursday, in the seventh round of the first group competitions for the decisive third round of the Asian qualifiers, the Iranian team qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Porto player Mahdi Tarmi scored the winning goal at the beginning of the second half, at Azadi Stadium, to become the first Asian team to reach the finals through the qualifiers portal, according to "AFP".
