Croatian President on the NATO-Russia conflict: We will avoid the fire instead of being a "fireman"

"In the event of a conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the Croatian authorities will withdraw their forces from NATO forces in Eastern Europe," said Croatian President Zoran Milanovic.

 Milanovic on national television added: "I see reports that NATO - and not separately the United States - is strengthening its presence, sending reconnaissance ships, I guarantee you that we do not and will not have anything to do with that."

Added: Our reaction will not be limited to not only sending troops, but if there is an escalation, we will withdraw the last Croatian soldier, this is not related to Ukraine or Russia, but this is related to the dynamics of American domestic politics, Joe Biden and his administration, whom I alone supported Europe, but I see behavior  dangerous in matters of international security.

Also, The Croatian president criticized his political opponents, Foreign Minister Gordan Gerlic Radmann, Defense Minister Mario Panojic, and Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic.
